good morning. 6:15 am friday morning. looks like the south shore came up a few inches. 8 guys are out at bowls, and a few along ala moana park. i just seen a chest high wave and the conditions look good. i’m going surfing…. have a nice day!!!
oh, wanted to say hello to daisuke who attends acadamia english school in hawaii. it was nice meeting you in the water yesterday. thanks for checking out my blog. you were surfing good yesterday and i just want to tell you that we were lucky to surf there with only 2 other people out. i won’t say where because i’m going out there again today. maybe see you out there.. keep on ripping….


to all you fisherman: there is a big school of sardines in the lagoon near the hilton hawaiian village. go catch some dinner for tonight. i seen the guys catching so many fish yesterday…

i was up at university of hawaii the other day. i still can’t believe how nice it is up there. and i still can’t believe i went there for 3 years and didn’t even notice it….

it’s going to be another beautiful day out there so get out and enjoy it…. surf 1st, work after….

and last, the roxy jam is on. imagine what kelia is thinking. a 16 year old girl going out in a heat with thousands of spectators watching. is she nervous? shit, i think i’m feeling more nervous for her right now… anyway, wanted to wish kelia, yoko, and yuko the best of luck in the contest…. i’ll be watching and cheering you girls on….

good evening. this mornings surf report? FLAT. i keep telling everybody that hawaii is never ever flat. if you know where to go, you can find a chest high wave on any given day. so when i woke up, i went to the beach….

when the waves in japan are flat. it’s like a swimming pool. when the waves in hawaii are flat, you can still get barreled? does that make sense???

there were only a few surfers out in the ocean today. i spent 5 hours in the ocean and enjoyed every minute of it… and so did this body boarder…

ask haunani if this is flat. i just wish the surf report calls it flat for the rest of the summer. then i will surf every morning. tomorrow will be flat too so i’m surfing all day again.. wanna surf flat waves with me? haha… have a great evening….
