Surfing Tropical Storm Hone: Round 1 and 2

Round 1 at Bowls.  Surf forecast was for smaller, but it was bigger.  Lucky girls!

Some really long lefts all the way to the channel.

Sunny, warm, and so good.

The two happiest surfer girls in the world.

Dana on a couple good ones.

Malcom on too many good ones.  Smiling all the way again!

Round 2 at Diamond Head.  Head high and very challenging conditions.  Strong wind and stronger current.

She paddled out, caught the 2 biggest waves, and paddled in with a smile.  That took 20 minutes and she came back to the car very happy.

I’m proud of this girl because this is very hard to do.  And she did it great!
