僕はプロサーファーになる夢があるということを話した。この記事が掲載されてからは一度も読まなかったけど、改めて読んでみると笑えるね。僕は人生の道を模索している21歳のサーファーだったんだ。そしてその道を見つけたら、一度も振り返らなかったよ！

コーチのトニー・モニーツとベン・アイパは僕のキャリアにおいて大きな影響を与えた。トニーはよくコーチしてくれて、一番最初にエントリーしたコンテストの参加費を支払ってくれた。ベンも僕をコーチしてくれていて、海のなかでも外でも、いろんなことを教えてくれた。世界最高のコーチたちのおかげで今の僕があるんだ。そのことにはいつまでも感謝しているよ！
