Hawaii International Film Festivalでは素晴らしい映画がいろいろ観れて、すごく嬉しい。みんなプロジェクトに心を込めていて、世界中にそれを示している。前回こういうサーフムービーを観に行ったのは、40年前のカイムキのクイーンシアターだった。その映画はStorm Ridersだったと思う。

Trilogyでのメインサーファーの一人としてセス・モニーツを観れてよかった。世界を旅する18人のクルーが素晴らしい映像を創り出した。多くの労力が費やされたことがわかるし、それが映像にも現れていた。

セスは素敵なウォーターマンに成長したし、世界中からリスペクトされている。

彼らが映画の中で使った映像には息をのんだよ。これは大好きなパートだ。

そして、グリフィン・コラピントは面白い子だよ。この子の夢はワールドチャンピオンになることだけど、いつかそれは叶うだろう。できれば、みんなもTrilogyという映画を見てみてください。僕が観たStorm Riders以来のベストサーフムービーなんだ！
