good cold thursday morning. gosh, it’s freezing cold right now. cloudy skies and north winds making this feel like winter wonderland. been wearing sweatpants and socks in the daytime at my house.[:???:][:???:][:???:] as for the waves? still onshore and junky on the north shore. looks 3′ out of the north with nobody out at pipe or lani’s. worst winter for waves?? yeah. i think everybody is feeling the same. i wonder what everybody is doing on the north shore? can’t surf or can’t take photos. that sucks. i think it’s going to be a late winter so march and april should be good like last year. so as for now, i’m just being patient and ain’t planning anything for march. want to be here getting barreled. but for now, all i can do is just dream about it…. have a nice day….

yeah, it was beautiful… i’ve been going to japan for many years and haven’t spent a new years there yet. it’s something i want to experience someday. the cool weather with some mochi soup in the morning. sounds unreal… thanks takahiro for the awesome photos….

good evening. gosh, what a dark, rainy day again we had here today. the waves were junk on the north shore. i called matchi this morning and asked how the waves were. he said “owatteru”, which means “finished” in english. in surfers slang, it means “super shitty”. i just checked the surf forecast now and it’s looking “owatteru” for a while. winds back strong tomorrow with some rain along with it. and no big swells…. “owatteru”….
no surf? go dive! went out with my brother and friend brandon out to waikiki. caught some fish, not too much, but enough for dinner. on the way out, seen this pod of dolphins. probably 30 or more just cruzing around. had my pocket dig. camera so jumped in to swim around with them. check out these photos…

this is one of the 2 pods. not ipods you know. haha.. pods of dolphins means a lot of them. they were just cruzing around swimming at a slow pace…

then the other pod swam by me. gosh, it was pretty awesome…. haven’t done this in a while….

i took 4 photos and this one is the best one, a keeper. no this is not a wyland painting, this is a photo from my olympus 790sw pocket camera. must be a couple? i wanted to kick myself in the ass because if i had my good canon camera in my housing, i would have gotten sick ass shots…. but you know what? i know where they are everyday so i can go back again. and today was dark and cloudy anyway. so here’s my next mission, to go back out there on a sunny day with my good camera and get some sick ass shots. but first, i need a mermaid. any volunteers? haha…

good morning. 6:45am on this chilly wednesday morning. north winds out in the country so the waves are stormy and junky. town is super clean but flat. good day for diving? umm…. can’t wait for sunny days starting tomorrow…. have a nice last cloudy day..

i took my camera out to bowls the other day. it was cloudy but still had a nice view….

bowls is longboard heaven. if i was a longboarder, i’d be there every day….

what’s up guys, when is the last time you seen a [:??????:][:??????:][:??????:] mark in the weather forecast? seems like years…. once the sun comes out, so will the smiles. happy sunny days to come….
