How to Cook a fish and Hunt a Pig….

good morning. flat waves around the island. well, flat for hawaii but still waist high for japanese. i’m looking at all the cameras now and don’t see anybody out surfing. if this was japan, it would be packed. sunny skies, light winds, clean water? sounds good for something yeah? yeah, diving…. see you under the water….

yesterday evening, hayato, brandon, and i went up deep into the mountains to find fresh pig tracks. we found some so it’s just a matter of time when we catch one. a lot of barbecues coming up so we need a big fat pig soon. and it’s not going to be kalua. stay tuned…. oh, the mountains in hawaii are infested with mosquitos. there are over a hundred swarming around you every where you go. we were getting bit all over. i was luck to wear long pants, socks, and a long sleeve shirt. hayato went in with a tshirt, slippers, and shorts. and he paid the price….

hayato was getting bit so much that he used some of brandon’s gloves he had in his car. haha… classic….

and last, check out go-naminori hawaii info. i let out my homemade secret on how to steam a fish. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS…..

E Ho'omaluhia Me Ka Honua…

i was running around town today doing things so i’d figure, turn into kewalo’s and check the waves. pulled up and the waves were actually fun. it came up out of the east so this little reef on the side was really good. chest high and perfect peeling rights. caught 10 waves in 30 minutes. one of the best 30 minutes sessions i had in a long time. gosh, i love surfing…

and check out tokyo japan today. freaking chamui…..[:???:][:???:][:???:]

this sign is posted at an elementary school near my house. it reads in Hawaiian “E Ho’omaluhia Me Ka Honua…”. which means in english “May the World be in Peace”…. hope the young kids stop and read this sign everyday at school because kids are our future…

getting to this tiger story. this 350lbs tiger named tatiana who is kept at the san francisco attacked 3 guys, killing one of them. finally, the whole story is coming out on why the tiger attacked. the boys were drunk and stoned while they were provoking the tiger. personally, i don’t like the idea of wild animals being locked up to entertain the public. especially to make money off it. it ain’t the tigers fault for attacking the 3 boys, especially if they were taunting her. tigers are predetors that will kill in a heartbeat. that’s their nature. if you keep on treating them as circus acts and public exhibits, something is bound to go wrong. look what happened to tyke the elephant when he went wild in hawaii? the sad things about these stories is that the animal always comes out the loser. both were killed by police fire. poor animals…
**want to see a tiger attack caught on video? once again, the tiger was doing what it does best. and that’s to hunt and kill….
