Ebay Day….

good evening. i stayed home all day and was trying to win auctions on ebay. i’m looking for a backup canon camera so i won’t ever miss that moment when i’m changing lenses. i lost the first 5 auctions and i was really bummed out. then, finally i WON!!!

i got a used canon 20d for $336. what a deal!! i remembered paying $1,325 for my first one. ebay rules!!!!

now i have to look for a new camera phone. ever since i got a new phone, my photos on my blog suck. this was my ramen today. it was so good but it looks terrible in this photo….

we have a strawberry plant in my yard. nice sweet little strawberries. good for smoothies….

after catching so many fish recently, it was time again to tune up my guns. it takes a long time but i love to do it. it’s like taking off old wax off a magic surfboard and putting on fresh wax. can’t wait to use it again….

this is my last video camera that broke on the first day. i took it back to costco and got a new one. costco rules when it comes to returning stuff. no questions asked….
**hey, i’m over 500,000 views on my vids. stoked. wanted to say thanks to this guy from brazil for the comment on dolphins. i feel the exact same way….
SWIMMING WITH DOLPHINS AS THERAPY. Really, you just can’t feel sad when you’re around a dolphin. They’re so sweet and friendly animals. They always look like they’re happy to see you. Another good video man. 🙂 I’m from Brazil and in february (2009) i have been in Oahu with my father in Hotel Grand Queen Kapiolani. It’s a great island.

Shark Attack!!

Abunai!!!

Fresh Catch: Hawaiian Local Foods….

good morning. perfect clean waves around the island. bowls is chest high with 25 surfers out. diamond head is probably the best spot again today with head high sets but expect over 100 surfers in the water. even pipeline is breaking in the chest high range and 5 surfers are on it. it looks so fun. anyway, it’s going to be another perfect day for surf here in hawaii. have a nice day and see you in the water!!!

ok, here is where you can get the best oxtail soup on the island. it’s called Fresh Catch and is located on waialae avenue across the street from city mill. yeah, it’s the old taco bell. when you see a local place with locals making a line out the door, you know it’s good….

$10.30 for this. and you won’t regret it….

oh my gosh, and the poke is amazing too. if you go there, try the salmon poke. awesome…. and hey, please keep this place a secret. thanks….

kyle told me the Hawaii State Record for the biggest omilu is 22.12lbs. mine weighed in just a little over 21lbs. shucks… 1 more pound and i would have made the state record. but who cares? i haven’t seen an omilu bigger than this before so it’s my personal record. and that’s the only record i care about…. sashimi time!!
