Trilogy on the Big Screen

Started this morning off at Ala Moana Bowls.  You could just tell that today was going to be another beautiful day.

The waves are smaller so a lot of surfers showing up early.  It was too crowded to surf so I foiled.  Caught 15 waves in my 30 minute session.  Excellent workout with the feeling of total freedom.

Diamond Head was perfect!  Long rights with clean conditions.

Lots of surfers but lots of waves too.

Then went to check up on the boys after their outer island boat trip.  These boys are learning very fast.  All becoming great watermen.

Then straight to the Hawaii International Festival featured film “Trilogy.”  OMG, that was one of the best surf movies I saw in a very long time.  Incredible cinematography, world champion surfing, exotic surf destinations, great storyline, and funny too.  Good to see Seth making the big screen!

Ushio: The Master

One of my most favorite places in Japan.  The Master is an artist!

Hamo or pike conger.

Sato imo or sweet taro.

Dashimaki tamago or rolled omelette.

Sanma zushi or saury sushi.

Sashimi omakase or chef’s special.

Wyagu beef is my dessert.  Tender, juicy, and delicious.
