Round 1 Monday:  OMG, Ala Moana Bowls was so good this morning!  Perfect size, perfect swell direction, and perfect conditions.  I think it was the best day of 2025 so far.

There was a pro longboard contest today so not too many surfers early this morning.  Lucky!

About once a week I see hikers getting rescued off the mountain behind my house.  It’s very dangerous but people go anyway.  It’s costing the rescue team time, money, and effort.  And how pays for that?  Us.

I went looking for opihi.  Did you know that most ocean related deaths in Hawaii are from people picking opihi?  Big waves and slippery rocks is where the opihi live.  Please be careful.
