hit my secret spot today. epic waves and nobody. score!
ok, here is a message to all my japanese friends that can’t figure out how to park on the street. if you see a meter like this, that doesn’t necessarily mean you can park there. yeah, weird right? i got my tickets before, and i also got my car towed. so i’ll try to explain how the parking system works.
when ever you see a meter, make sure you look for the signs and READ IT CAREFULLY! the top red sign says “TOW AWAY ZONE.” so if you park here from 3:30-6:30pm everyday except saturdays, sundays, and state holidays, you will get towed. trust me, i guarantee you will be towed. the bottom green sign says “1 HOUR PARKING.” read the times carefully. i see many of my friends putting money in the meter when they don’t have too. complicated? yes, even for me.
and if you can’t read english, my advise would be not to park there. these signs are way too complicated and if you misunderstand it, your car will be towed, plus you will get a ticket. all that will cost you over $200 and a lot of wasted vacation time. just ask Naoka. haha.
ahi fever? yeah! want to congratulate Derrick Hagi for pulling in this 205lbs. monster! i told you guys that i quit fishing but i might have to catch one for the year. haha.
bought this gun, used it once, never liked it, so now i’m getting rid of it. i also have 8 more guns i’m getting rid of. time to clean house.
want to thank Aihara-san for the sweet jellies!
so stoked to see Joshua Moniz ranked 14 in the world on the WQS ratings. the highest rated hawaiian. good job Josh!
i have absolutely no where to go???? gang violence in central america, zika virus in south america, terrorists in europe, natural disasters everywhere, and other crazy things going on in this world. going to take a break from traveling for a while. not too bummed because i can enjoy my hawaiian lifestyle more than ever.

Hawaii: No Parking, Speargun, and Ahi Fever!
Real Life Godzillas?
been watching some crazy news from around the world.
remember this gorilla that escaped the zoo in japan? first, i don’t like when animals like this are held captive. i would try to escape too. and if someone tried to catch me, i’d defend myself. so watching this angry gorilla kind of made me angry too. is it their fault? no, it’s humans fault.
and this cool 17 year old gorilla in a cincinnati zoo got shot dead. was it his fault? no, it’s humans fault.
a little 3 year old boy falls in his territory. so they killed the gorilla. very sad.
and all the immigrants fleeing from their country. most making it, but lots drowning in the sea, including children. very sad.
A record 19,374,000 foreigners visited Japan in 2015. that’s a lot of people! i’m so happy that i’m one of them. haha. gosh, i miss japan so much!!!
check out his rapper going into a crowded night club in america and shooting someone. that’s crazy!
oh my gosh, a sad story from japan. i hope the poor kid that got lost in the woods gets found. this story is so sad that i don’t even want to comment about it.
and this story i will comment on. i’m so happy to see President Obama become the first american president to visit hiroshima. i think everyone in america should visit hiroshima to understand what my grandpa told me over and over about the war, “nobody wins.” i wish my grandpa Osaki was alive to see this. it would make him cry to see this part of history happening right in his parents town.
