Delete: Hawaiian Jet lag

ok, since i’m a frequent flyer from Japan to Hawaii, i’ll tell you my secret in avoiding jet lag. first, eat a healthy dinner at the airport in Japan before you board the flight. and sneak in a snack too if you want.

use the toilet before you board the flight. take your seat, and get prepared.

make sure you have some basic necessities.

you will need an eye mask, ear plugs, mouth mask, and turn off all your electronics. and never watch a movie or listen to music. just get your brain relaxed for the deep sleep to follow.

make sure you’re wearing long pants, then put on some warm socks. this is important to keeping warm and sleeping good.

take only a few sips of water. if you drink too much, you will wake up over and over to use the toilet. that’s not good. and NEVER drink alcohol! not even one! you can party all you want in Hawaii. so recline your seat, take a deep breath, think about the good times you just had, and close your eyes. opps, i forgot to tell you to tell the flight attendant “please don’t wake me up. i don’t need dinner, ice cream, or anything. i’m going to sleep the whole way.” they will love you even more…

7 hours later, wake up, look out your window, and you will be in paradise! now that you got solid hours of good sleep, you’re ready to enjoy your Hawaiian vacation feeling refreshed.

i come home to drop off my luggage, put my foil back together, and call the boys for the surf report.

head out the house, find parking, grab a board of your choice, and go to the ocean.

the first wave always feels the best! this is when you know you’re really here in Hawaii. warm water, blue sky, clean water, and endless waves. surf for a couple of hours, go eat dinner, and sleep around 10pm. tomorrow i’ll be back to my normal Hawaii lifestyle without the jet lag. try this technique and i know you’ll love it…
