last year when i went to Indonesia, i took my foil. i didn’t see or hear of any foiler in sight to i had to do my own researching. in the process, i foiled at a spot i still can’t believe i even attempted to. it was way to dangerous and i was still a beginner. now, things are different. i’m going to Bali and i’m sure there are good waves to foil. been there many of times so i have a rough idea where to go. spent time on Google Maps and found this spot. i booked a hotel right in front so this will be my home base foil point. see all those swells? that’s me! can’t wait!
driving through town, i seen a different landscape. a new building???
omg, it’s a boat!!! the biggest one to ever enter Honolulu Harbor to date. over 5000 passengers coming to spend! i have one message for them that i learned in Molokai, “Visit, Spend, and Leave.” haha..
luckily none of them were at my secret Chinese restaurant.
omg, this is the best!
Ozaki-san asked me if we can drink the tap water in Hawaii. to answer that question, almost everywhere you go, you’re drinking tap water. every restaurant and every meal. i even drink it out of the shower at Bowls. so yes, it’s totally safe!
we had a great time on the North Shore yesterday. shopping, turtle watching, sightseeing, and tea time.
and picked up dessert on the way back. the wonderful world of Snow Puffs!
i saw this sign in the shop window. “There’s a divine purpose for all the experiences you go through. Grow and continue to trust your journey.” i truly believe in this as i’m still on my way on the ultimate journey. i’ll go through my ups and downs, but i’m never giving up…
