i just love coming to Wakayama. so much culture here compared to the major cities. just locals feeding locals. the only tourist around here is me. walking in the grocery store watching the elderly reminds me of my Grandparents. so cute!and the food is so fresh and delicious. and also very cheap. if i lived here, i would come and buy fish everyday and grill it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. so many different varieties. shopping with Atsuko-san! i’d vote her best wife in the world. Kimura-san is a very lucky man. when ever we go to En for dinner, the master prepares us the fresh assortment of sashimi. something like this. and the master knows i love to eat whale. this one was so fatty and melted in my mouth. it was the first time for me eating these huge shrimp. who cares about my allergy anymore? haha… and the tomatoes are so sweet. the best in the world. after eating so much food, we ended up with this tempura soba. omg, i was a very happy man. i haven’t felt this happy over food in a long time. after all, Japan is the best!
