 for the past 5 months, i’ve been waking up at 3:30am and starting my training program.  and when Mateus comes over, he joins me.  first, we start off with squats.  using the rice bag as a weight.   then we do some hand/eye coordination exercises.  this is excellent. then we do some sparing.  i teach kids to walk away from trouble but there will be a day when you can’t.  so you better know how to defend yourself.  i don’t care how good of a fighter you are, if you can’t keep calm, you will get destroyed.  so breathing and keeping calm is key. then when you let go of a punch, your other hand better be up protecting your face from the counter punch.  if you drop that hand, you could get knocked out before you knock out your opponent. then we focus on abs.  core muscle is very important. then last, we do 10 surfing pop ups.  starting from paddling.then pop up, bend your knees, and look forward.  if you do this 10x every morning, your surfing will get good super fast.

so take these lockdown days and make use of it.  exercise every morning, eat healthy, and surf all day.  that’s the guide to a happy and healthy life…
