The Black Glove

so cool to see all the boats i see in the ocean getting dry docked.  this is the time to do the necessary repairs because no tourists means no work.   this is the pirate boat you always see outside Waikiki.  they pulled it out for bottom paint and repairs.  i’m guessing the bill will be $30,000.  so next time you pay $79 for a 2 hour tour on the pirate boat, please don’t complain!  haha…

for the past 2 days,  i’ve been down at the boat yard all day long.  it’s been like 100 degrees with no wind.  maybe i lost 20 pounds of sweat already and i have 3 more days of work.  i’ve been sanding, doing fiberglass work, and maintenance.  it seems never ending… after i just wiped the sweat off my face, i looked at my hand and couldn’t believe what i saw!!  no, i’m not wearing a glove.  my hands, feet, face, and hair were this color.  this is probably the dirtiest i’ve ever been in my life.  no wonder boat repair guys get paid so much money!  anyway, i better go shower now…
