if you live in Hawaii, you probably know where i’m walking right? look familiar? this is Kahala Mall and i’m pretty sure the carpet design has been this way ever since it opened back in 1954.
Apple is one of the biggest companies in the world. i use to study companies like this in college so i’m always checking things out. and after my iPhone Genius Bar experience yesterday, i realized how smart they are. when i walked in, they got my name, asked what i was here for, and guided me to a table in the back. our meeting happened to be on a table where brand new iPhones were displayed. do you think that was by chance? or planned? well, the next table over, there was a lady having problems with her iPad so she was being helped at the same time. and guess what? the table the she was on had brand new iPads. ummm… you don’t have to be a genius to figure out all this is well planned. i took the bait and bought a brand new iphone, and i’m pretty sure that lady walked out with a brand new iPad. haha. i’m buying more Apple stock tomorrow…
Kahala Mall has been pretty empty recently. not that many people, but it’s still a happy place to be…
i’m not sure if you think this is too happy. i took a photo of half of the Diamond Head lineup yesterday. i counted over 60 surfers in this photo so there were at least double that. surfing is booming over here in Hawaii!
