for the past 9 days, i was living in a dream! i was eating anything and everything! from the 7/11 foods to homemade meals, i kept on eating and eating. this is a beautiful creation that Naomi-san cooked for us. homemade hamburger that tasted like something out of a Michelin Star Restaurant!
then Ryoko-san gave us a cooler of fresh live abalone. we had that grilled up and it was delicious. from the sea, to the grill, to our mouth. only in Japan…
i already knew where i wanted to go for my last meal in Japan. this tonkatsu restaurant is one of the best in Japan and since it’s oyster season, i was hoping there were fried oysters.
and guess what? there were fresh oysters on the daily special menu! i love kaki fry!!!
they gave 5 big pieces with unlimited cabbage and rice. only for $12. i think i ate too much because my stomach was huge!
i wanted to visit many more places in Japan but since i brought my surfboard and foil board, i was very limited. riding the bus or train with this big and heavy bag isn’t fun at all. so this trip i had to cut short but next time the only thing i will need to carry is my googles because my next trip to Japan will be strictly surfing the mountains! see you guys next time in the powder!
