another fun hot surfing day here in hawaii. super mellow surfers just having fun. seems like the past 4 days of big waves tired everyone out because the lineup today was empty. and it’s sunday?
oh, i wanted to congratulate my nephew Isaiah Moniz for taking 2nd place at ARNETTE CASH POT SURF SERIES at bowls. i was watching his heats from the water and knew he was doing good. the older guys were getting the big sets but Isaiah sat in the inside, caught the small ones, ripped it! if he caught the sets, he would have won for sure. i’m so happy for him!
been hearing about all the rain in japan this rainy season. been hearing all the hype about the river mouths opening up, just in time for typhoon season. last year, i took a break because of 3/11. this year, i’m going back to look for the biggest barrel! got my boards ready, just have to make a few phone calls and i’ll be on an airplane very soon. but until then, got lots of things to do so better get going. have a beautiful evening!
meet nude surfer Marama Kake. 32 year old Kake is known in australia as “the nude surfer.” she goes around surfing everywhere in the nude. i think that’s pretty cool but i hope she doesn’t try this in hawaii because she will be arrested for sure.
Kake has “get naked, get sustainable” inscribed on her board. i wonder if she goes shopping nude too?
i think Kake is a very brave woman. and a very naked women. haha. seeing this makes me want to go surf bowls tomorrow morning nude too. wanna join me? haha.
