went to kyle’s house last night for a celebration and blessing of his new dream boat. i seen photos of the building process but to see it in person was totally different. i could just picture us going to molokai every week! haha.
kyle graduated from University of Hawaii Architecture program. his advisors doubted him, he proved them wrong and graduated, got a full time job as an architect, quit years later because that demanding job kept him out of the water. he formed his own company called Red Sea Ocean Adventures, started Hawaii Skin Diver TV, and is now living his dream as a surfer/diver/traveler/producer. now he’s taken the next step of this divers dream boat. what a great story on how dreams can come true.
2 90HP suzuki 4 stoke engines. i wish we had this boat in the mentawai’s.
once this thing hits the water, watch out! fish, dive, and fun!
every time i leave the Nakamoto family house, i really get touched by their love and support for one another. there aren’t too many solid families like this anymore and i really envy them. you can feel the love and respect in the air. if every family was like this, we would be living in a better world. i want to thank the Nakamoto family for teaching me family values. i hope to pass it on to the younger generation and hopefully we can get our japanese/american culture back how it use to be. thanks for the great food, entertainment, and warm hearts.
i was in my garage today cleaning around my boat. it looked like a toy compared to kyle’s. someday my day will come and i can’t wait! dream big, work hard, and everything will be alright!
opps, forgot to take a photo of kyle last night. so i just pulled one from our latest mentawai trip.
kyle is the most organized guy i know. from arranging tickets, to planning trips, to setting up his dive gear, photo gear, to making poke, cutting fish, and to making sure everybody is ok. he’s the kind of guy you want on a trip. and we need at least one dependable sober guy after i start drinking. haha. thanks kyle for all the traveling memories!
