it’s about time our government steps up and recognizes our world champion team. the boys were invited to the state capital where they were given awards. the mayor and governor of hawaii said speeches and congratulated the team. i just wish the mayor and governor showed up at the airport to welcome the kids back to hawaii after that long trip in panama. i bet if they were surfers, it would have been different. maybe i should run for mayor? haha.
it’s probably the first time in history that 3 brothers from the same family made the team for their country. and yes, these 3 boys are my nephews isaiah, joshua, and seth. i am so proud of them!
and there’s my sister in there. i’d have to say that she did a great job in raising her 5 kids. i think she got all that experience from growing up with 3 brothers, 2 which were out of control. my sister is a tough woman!
when print club machines first came out in japan, it was a boom! and when you have old time friends and alcohol mixed, anything is a boom. welcome to hawaii print club!
gosh, this seemed like so long ago. was this really a few weekends ago?
anyway, the waves have been good here in hawaii. i think it’s time for me to go surfing in japan. i can’t wait!
