good morning. this year is probably the coldest it’s been for me in japan. i was practically freezing every single day. was it because my body overheated in bali? was it el nino? what was it? all i can say is that now i know 100% that i can’t live in a cold place. it would slowly take out all the energy from me. and it would make me miss hawaii even more. during the tssc contest, the morning was freaking cold. here is seth and kairi trying to start a fire to keep us warm. how cute is their fire? haha…
in japan, nothing beats waking up to the cherry blossoms out your window. like i said, it’s like waking up in hawaii with a rainbow out your window. a great way to start off the day!
i like this part of contests in japan. it just shows the total respect japanese have for one another. and respect is the key to success!!!
seth is classic. when he signs something, his mouth is wide open, his hand is shaking, he makes mistakes, and he takes forever. if kelly slater took as much time seth takes to sign his name, kelly would be still signing autographs for his 1992 world title… haha… seth, you better practice and get use to it because it’s part of your job…
