Red Bull Rivals…

good evening. the waves were small today so it was a great chance to get my boat in the water. toda-san loves to drive boats and i love people that like to drive my boat. why? so i can dive. yes, i took my speargun just in case. we got 3 kumu’s, 1 menpachi, 1 opelu kala, and 3 tako’s. i lost my shaft because it got stuck down in the reef 45′ deep. i tried and tried and almost even had shallow water blackout. $50 down the drain… i’m tired but my body and mind had the exercise it’s been craving. the most important thing is that my boat is running really good so i can catch my winter dinners… have a great evening…
**got this comment from a kid in Romania on one of my videos i posted.
“every time I see clips of Hawaii or California, it reminds of how much I hate my country”
hey dude, i have a message to you. first, you shouldn’t hate your country. no country is perfect and we all have our goods and bads. i could put together a video of all the negative things that happen in hawaii everyday if i wanted to. yes, hawaii is great, but somethings that happen here is not too great. the key is to find the great things and ride it like a wave. i’m sure Romania has it’s goods. find it, ride it, and enjoy life with a positive attitude. and if you ever make it to the beach, go surfing. and if you ever come to hawaii, i’ll take you surfing. just dream big until that day comes!

**there’s always been a rivalry between the north shore surfers and the south shore surfers. it’s been going on for years and people are always talking about it. i was stoked that my 2 nephews isaiah and seth moniz, and my niece kelia moniz made the south shore team. jun jo was the south shore team captain and did a great job. yes, the south shore won! the north shore surfers lost so had to give their surfboards to the south shore team, which donated it to a charity. i was down there watching the contest and was having a great time…. well… until i went swimming with my iphone in my pocket…. all in all, it was a great event…. check it out…
