JAPANESE SURFERS IN HAWAII….

222

since there hasn’t been too many japanese surfers on the north shore these days, it’s pretty quiet. i miss the early mornings when i see everybody checking backdoor, or the japanese super sessions at sunset. for now, there’s not too many, but i hope everybody will come back soon..

it was good to see hiroto arai hanging out on the north shore. i’ve been getting a lot of go-naminori reader emails asking for an interview. you want it, you got it. it’s in the making and some of the photos i took at backdoor the other day came out cool…

i was stoked to capture this hiroto arai pass by. this is a photo and guess what? i have the video of it too. hiroto pulled in, got barreled, and passed by me underwater. i got the 8 shot sequence and 20 sec video clip. wait till you see it….

go-naminori readers also have been sending me a lot of emails about this guy, shimpei horiguchi. future interview? i think so…

and last, i was looking through some of my old photos. i took this one of mito on maui. wow!!
