Crossed My Line

477

ok, yesterday i told you that somebody crossed the line right? well, somebody literally crossed my line. i was out in the deep blue sea and there were no other boats around for miles and miles. i was driving at a slow 7 knots because i had my fishing lines out behind my boat. brand new fishing poles, line, reels, and lucky lures. i just set it out and was hoping to get lucky! BUT!!!

i was driving in a straight line for miles. i was watching a tourist parasailing boat near hawaii kai doing their business. he was speeding around taking turns for the tourists. then i see him keep on speeding straight toward me. i’m just keeping my slow pace line and watched him come closer and closer. he got super close and i yelled at him. he smiled and ran over my fishing lines in the back of my boat. my reel started screaming and was losing line as his boat sped away. i kept yelling to stop so my reel doesn’t break but he kept on going. OMG! i haven’t swore or gotten that mad in a long time. i was yelling at him “fu@K You!!!! what the f#@K!!!! he finally stopped, my line cut, i lost my lucky lure, and i was still yelling at the top of my voice. i stop the boat, he starts coming back, i was ready to shoot my speargun at his boat, then he came and apologized. he said “sorry.” i looked at him and said “what are you thinking???? you have the whole entire ocean and you have to come that close to me???” he said sorry again and i looked at him wondering if this was a joke or something. i was waiting for the hidden cameras to come out and say “haha, this is a trick, you are on hidden camera.” i can’t believe how stupid some people can be. and the good thing is that my crazy fisherman friends weren’t with me because it would have been a different story. you should have seen the faces of the japanese tourists on the parasailing boat. they must have been tripping out. haha.

anyway, i took some deep breaths, then continued to fish on my other pole. then bam!!! mahi mahi!!!! i got my first fish on Mayuki and there will be many more to come. i even got another mahi mahi after that but lost it when it came to the side of the boat. i was trying to spear it but he got scared and ran away. haha.
