left super early this morning to go meet my friend down at the yacht club.
it was time for the first coat of paint so i pulled up before 7am. he painted and i did other things that needed to be done. then when the clock hit 8am, i jumped into the truck to start off my day.
took these 2 boys surfing. Shu-san and Ryo-kun are super cool kids! super stoked on surfing as we had an awesome morning.
then went to check diamond head and it was so beautiful!
i could see some little waves coming up.
after i dropped off the boys, i flew over to sand island to pick up parts. they didn’t have everything i needed so i went to kailua to get the rest. when the staff rung up the total price, i couldn’t believe how expensive it was!!!
then went down to give Mayuki tender loving care. Jon doing the bottom paint while my brother tuning up the motors.
it’s amazing how these little zincs can look before and after. these are the internal ones that most people miss. then when their motors get eaten up by corrosion, they wonder why.
then i was so sweaty, oily, and stinky from working in the hot sun. so right before sunset, i jump in the water to catch a few waves and rinse off.
then went to meet some friends at Gaku for dinner. omg! so good!
this is called the uni shooter. you must try this! it’s amazing!
i’m still predicting the Eddie Aikau ON for thursday. anyone want to bet me? expect gigantic waves on thursday!
