if you want to find parking at the beach for the next 2 days, good luck. they are filming Hawaii Five-O so just letting you know.
today was Asayama-san’s last day in hawaii. we surfed early this morning and next thing you know, it was lunch time. time sure flies when you’re having a great time!
i’m guessing Asayama-san caught over 200 waves on this trip alone. and not just average waves, but very good and very long waves.
after we passed 2 hours, i knew Asayama-san would get tired. why? because i was tired too. haha. so we went in very satisfied. had a great lunch with our surfer friends, Aoi-kun, Chifumi-san, and Chizu-san. we were all very happy after one of the best morning sessions in a while.
our last stop was a $1 soft cream from mcdonalds. the only reason why i’ll ever go there. haha.
the sunset was another amazing one.
the last sunset for Asayama-san. thank you very much for the wonderful time and awesome memories. this past 2 weeks went by way to fast. great times and i’ll be waiting for your return. please surf hard in japan and tell all the Wedge Surf crew in ibaraki i said hello!
fresh hawaiian combo meal from Highway Inn!
the pipikaula is the best on the island. hawaiian smoked meat time!
i’m surely going to miss this kind and wonderful man. after 2 weeks spending everyday together, we formed a very good relationship both in and out of the water. it was a sad goodbye, but the happy part is i know i’ll see Asayama-san again very soon. have a safe flight back to japan and hope you keep our golden memories in your heart forever!
