omg, my heart sank when i heard about the earthquake in japan yesterday. thank goodness the tsunami was a small one. hope everyone is safe.

i went to the Japanese Culture Center yesterday. i was surprised to see such an amazing exhibit about the internment camps in hawaii. interment camps that held Japanese/American citizens in prison during the war.

and to see things that came out of the camps. it was a very hard time to be japanese in hawaii. i still remember all the stories from my grandpa.

gosh, my grandparents had the same things! brings back memories.

never forget. hope this kind of thing will never happen again.
