Tsunami + Lost Boat = Friendship

got to upload the rest of the photos from yesterday before it gets lost or deleted forever.

the girls went snorkeling in the afternoon. i threw them my camera and they knew exactly what to do. here is one of the results.

imagine surfing for 4 times and can’t stand up? then you finally stand up on your first wave of the day? yes, anyone would be stoked! haha. i think we have a newborn surfer girl named Masae-san!

it was a cool moment when the albatross flew between this sisters. speechless.

Chizu-san’s always so happy in the water. she enjoys each day and each ride to the fullest.

for those of you who don’t know, a boat from Tohoku that drifted to Hawaii years after the tsunami connected Masae-san and i. and now what we are connected, we can enjoy moments like this. isn’t life so amazing?

look at Chizu-san in the background super stoked to finally be surfing with her sister.

and the laughter continues…

by the end of the session, Masae-san was surfing like a pro. just so relaxed and so perfectly!

have a beautiful day!
