Yumi-chan requested a late sunset session so i was more than happy to do that. waves are usually good in the evening and the golden sunset makes it even better.
i was surprised how good she was surfing. i was just riding along the side enjoying the ride.
we only stayed out for a few waves because Yumi-chan wanted to learn how to swim after. what? she’s from Okinawa but doesn’t know how to swim??? but as for surfing, she has it mastered!
island girl in the island. good job girl!
ok, when somebody tells me they cannot swim, i take them to the beginner course. the deep blue wild sea. haha.
and when they get their first look to the bottom, they usually scream. yes everyone, it’s that beautiful!
and when they see their first turtle ever, they scream even louder!
i give Yumi-chan the buoy to float on, i watch her progress, then i take the buoy away. then it’s like magic and she’s swimming! it’s that simple.
when i first jumped in, all the fish were swimming up to me. then i went to grab my speargun and all the fish ran away. it’s so funny but they know when they are being hunted. it’s pretty fascinating.
just caught one for my sashimi dinner.
watched the golden sunset on the way in. another perfect day in paradise. can’t wait to do it all over again!
