left Tokyo at rush hour this morning because i wanted to feel the rush. i was tripping out on everybody walking the sam exact way? that’s amazing.
got on the first of 3 trains. i don’t know what i’d do without my Neil Diamond playlist.
they make it so easy these days in Japan. the JR staff printed out my schedule. i don’t really need it because i’ve been traveling for years without it, but it sure helps me set my alarm to wake up before i pass my station. did that a few times before and it sucks.
and yes, the best service in the world! and no, they don’t expect a tip. it’s just the culture to work hard here in Japan. a culture i admire a lot.
i was trying to take a nap in the trains but Kimura-san kept on sending me texts and photos. how can you sleep when you get sent a photo like this? haha.
the transition from Tokyo to Wakayama is unbelievable. welcome to the country!
want to thank Inaida-san for giving me a bottle out of his fine whisky collection. its’ called Hikari and i can’t wait to open it!
heading to a restaurant now for a family dinner and hope to take this with me. sip on a glass, eat good food, and lots of laughs. can’t beat this life!
