i had no idea i would be lucky enough to see one matsuri, let alone two. last night there was another one in Mugi-cho and we had front row seats again. two nights in a row.
just walking around this little town is interesting. cultural beauty.
went to eat dinner with the Ono-san family. i love negi-yaki!
after dinner we walked outside to watch the beautiful fireworks show. another spectacular show. enjoying the matsuri together.
more lights, more happiness.
took a walk and seen this ladies enjoying the moment. in the city, most people would be on their iPhones. here in Mugi, everybody had their real eyes on it. i don’t remember seeing any iPhones when i think about it.
ok, this is by far my all time favorite fireworks photo i ever took. speechless…
Grandpa Yassan walking the grandkids home.
then woke up at 4am and paddled out in the dark. waves were super good and since all the locals were burnt out of surfing, it was very uncrowded. lucky us!
stopped by the TSSC factory on the way back, checked out the latest designs, and said our goodbyes. another wonderful trip in Shikoku. good waves and good vibes… thank you to Ono-san family and friends…
