Shark Fish!

226

i was watching Asayama-san dive for a kole. then i seen a big fish swim by. see it on the right side of the photo? anyway, that’s when my switch went ON! i kept calm, closed my eyes, went to the bottom, and waited for this fish to come check me out.

i was hiding behind the coral when it came over me and turned to the side. that’s when i took the shot!

i shoot the fish with my right hand, and film it with my left hand. this is called multitasking. haha.

then the fish got pissed and took off with my shaft in it. look at it go! i call Nao-san and tell her to look at the fish. she saw the same one earlier and thought it was a shark. haha. these Awa’awa actually do look like sharks.

Nao-san swims up and didn’t want to get near because she probably thought it still was a shark. then i call Asayama-san and ask him to spear the fish and help me.

he came swimming over with his kole on his spear. i told him to let the kole go and help me secure this fish.

so he tries and misses. tries and misses. he kept on trying as i kept on laughing. it was so funny!

if you don’t keep calm, you can’t function. look at this miss over the head. haha.

finally i secure it, kill it, and get it back to the boat before real sharks smell the bloody water.

took a couple photos and that’s the story of this fish. another learning experience for us all. keep calm and you can have the greatest memories of your life…
