i left my house extra early because i wanted to see 2 things. the waves, and the sunrise! and i wasn’t the only one…
it’s crazy how you can see the sun rise, and the sun set right from Diamond Head. and also see Molokai and Lanai in the back.
by the time the sun came up, i already knew where the best waves were going to be.
yes, Baby Makapuu! it was absolutely gorgeous! i could just sit on the beach and look at this view all day long.
we’ve been here before so we know how to surf it!
then got some hot Aunty Ramen’s after. custom made!

back to the sunrise. as i was watching it rise, i was thinking to myself “hey, it’s Christmas in so many places around the world. Hawaii’s is tomorrow but it’s never too early to wish everybody a Merry Christmas. then my absolute favorite song came into my mind and right there, i felt a warm feeling in my body. it’s like i was singing to all my friends around the world!”
