i was out at Diamond Head yesterday and noticed a drone flying above me. it kept on following me and i was kind of getting irritated. irritated because i couldn’t focus on foiling and i didn’t want fall and get hurt.
come to find out, my friend Ryo Kubota was playing around with his new toy! i came home and i got an email with all the footage. i was watching myself flying across the beautiful ocean in awe. now i know how i look, and now i know how to improve myself. and now i know how people feel when i send them photos when they least expect it. i am very thankful and very grateful! thank you Ryo! can we please go shoot again when i get better??? haha…
spent the morning surfing with these 2 newborn surfers.

it’s Kayama-san’s very first time abroad. first time in Hawaii, and first time surfing. you could see the excitement from the start.
he surfed so good too! riding long waves and feeling the stoke.
