Micah came back yesterday from Japan and called me up to go foil. i was so excited to go with him because if it wasn’t for him, i wouldn’t be this happy in my life right now. he surfs Bowls and Rockpiles at the same time on the same wave. make any sense? taking off at Rockpiles, pumping all the way to Bowls, then rides it through Bowls, and back to Rockpiles. make any sense? yeah, it’s pretty unbelievable.
i’ve been trying that for a while now. Micah was watching me struggle and gave me some advise. something i needed to do that i wasn’t doing.
i was watching his every move from head to toe analyzing everything. then i took off on the next wave and caught a wave from Rockpiles to Bowls and back to Rockpiles. OMG! that was like a dream come true! then i did it again!!! that’s unbelievable!
Buddy just got his foil and is on the team. our foil club just got bigger and stronger and happier. where we going after work today boys? haha.
since i don’t have Instagram or Facebook, i live a very analog life. the only way to keep in touch with friends is through text messages. so when Naohiro sent me this photo of his new car, the first thing i replied was “i want to try!!!”
he said “come to Wakayama.” i said “see you soon!” can’t wait to drive this beautiful classic car…
i want to congratulate my longtime friend Kenji Sahara on welcoming his new baby into his life. hey Kenji, i’m freaking so happy for you! so happy that i can cry right now… congratulations buddy!
