yesterday was just a vivid memory because i lost my camera. today was another one but documented properly. started off dawn patrol with the Nakahodo-san brothers.
early morning was empty. good waves with long rides. look at Nakahodo-san’s perfect left!
this guy is such a smooth and stylish Okinawan surfer.

younger brother Taisai-san only surfed for his 3rd time today. but he was surfing like he’s surfed for years. so comfortable and so solid.
our session was coming to an end so it was time for our last wave. i told Taisai-san to relax, smile, and enjoy the ride.

they wanted to go to Kaimana Farm Cafe for lunch. it was my first time and i was really impressed with the feeling. super clean, super healthy, and super run by Japanese. this is my kind of cafe!
as the boys were ordering their food, i was looking around.

the soba salad looked super good too. i’ll definitely go there and have a healthy meal very soon.

then i went to meet my boys for an evening foil session at Bowls. super fun waves for us. i really want to thank my nephew Micah Moniz for getting me hooked on foiling. if it wasn’t for this, i’d be sitting on the inside getting run over by him and Tony. that i don’t wish upon anyone. haha.
came home and opened my goodie bag from Tomami-san. omg, umeshu and snacks! cheers!
and thank you so much for the anpanman gifts for Mateus. i’m sure he will love it and it will bring a big smile to that kids face!
