had an awesome time with the Honeymooners! such a cool couple that was smiling all morning long…
Akemi-san’s first time in Hawaii so this was her very first Hawaiian wave. no nerves as she was ready for the joy ride!
and wow! she surfed so good! got better and better each wave.
Masaru-san is super cool. such a happy guy that just loves to surf. so watching him surfing and smiling was a treat.
he caught some super good waves too!
so did Akemi-san!
i just love riding behind people with my camera. this is as close at the real sensation you will feel without getting wet. look how beautiful this wave is.
and i love to watch the surfboard plane through the wave just like this. this is how you’re supposed to ride a wave…
want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Arimura-san from Saitama. you guys did great! keep on surfing and keep on smiling!
then i went to my secret spot to meet my friend. the two of us enjoyed the most beautiful foil session in town.
all we talk is about foiling these days. and i’ve been getting so many texts from friends that just started. they all want advice and i tell them “just don’t quit!” my whole scope of surfing has changed in a good way ever since i started foiling. it’s amazing.
no, i’m not crazy, but i drove past Diamond Head on the way home and it looked too good to pass up. then Tony pulls up so we go foiling again. the waves were so long and perfect!
i’m having fun doing anything and everything i do. whether it’s by myself or with friends, i’m enjoying each ride till the fullest…
and gosh, yesterdays nature encounters were amazing. Hawaii is awesome!
