Hawaii: A day in Nature…

278

i couldn’t believe how much nature i saw just in one single day. started off in the morning when i jumped in the water and was greeted by this many fish.

then an hour later, i see the big fish coming in to look for the little fish. it was amazing.

then come back to the beach and see all the black in front. no, that is not dirty water, that is millions of fish!

this one guy was fishing for dinner. he kept on catching fish after fish.

and his bucket was filling up with these sardines. i would love to deep fry one and eat it!

after 2 sessions and super tired and burnt, i took a drive by Diamond Head on the way home. the waves were way better than i thought. clean and only a few surfers out.

how could anyone pass this by? not me!

then Mari-chan pulls up next to me. i tell her “i’ll watch you and if i see you get a good one, i’ll paddle out.” i watched her get 2 good ones, and i paddled out…

walking down the cliff, i see a friend.

the cutest Hawaiian monk seal. just relaxing on the beach. i said hello and walked on by.

yes everybody, Diamond Head was very good and very uncrowded yesterday afternoon. where was everybody???
