drove to Down to Earth in Kakaako and parked on one side of the street. homeless living everywhere.
right across that small street is Down to Earth and many nice brand new condos. how would you like to wake up in your million dollar condo and see people living on the streets? i don’t think that was mentioned in the sales advertisement.
Nao-san is slowly but surely figuring it out. she’s catching waves on her own, and riding them all the way to the end.
and now she’s turning! by the end of this trip, she’ll be doing cutbacks. wanna bet?
foiled today at Bowls and seen 3 other foilers out. one was Curtis Miyashiro. Curtis is the DaKine representative in Hawaii and a well respected local surfer. good to see the boys coming back with so much excitement.
Blane Chambers out too for the amazing session. the more the merrier!
i haven’t been foiling a lot but since Nao-san and i surfed the 3 hour plus marathon session, i foiled a months worth of waves. haha.
drove out to the North Shore to check out my friends factory.
it’s amazing how surfboards are made. i can walk around Carl’s factory all day long check every little thing out.
