these past 2 days have to be the longest days in my life. it all started yesterday morning at 4am when we loaded the boards in the truck. it was time for our High Surf Warning Boat Trip!
24 surfboards total on Mayuki. i can’t believe we fit it all on!!!
i always leave when it’s still dark because once i’m an hour into the channel, i love watching the sunrise come up right from the horizon. it’s my time of peace…
and love the moon setting with the pink sky as we head away from Oahu.

when we arrived, we couldn’t believe how clean the water was!!! you could see the coral clearly from the boat.
so we stopped and took photos of the ocean. yes, all of us…
then the dolphins came by to say hello. couldn’t believe how many were in that pod!

and being that the water was so clean, it made it even better.
after all that fun, we finally arrived at our destination. unloaded the boards, coolers, backpacks, and beers. the start to our wonderful trip to Molokai has begun…
