good morning. 6:15 am monday morning. the waves are looking super fun again. gosh, this has to be the best summer for waves since i started surfing. even the small days between swells are so fun. i was over at kewalo’s yesterday evening watching perfect head high surf and i didn’t even feel like surfing. i’m burnt out. but yesterday is yesterday, and today is today. i’m looking at bowls right now and it’s calling me. so i’m going to surf, surf, and surf!!! then i’m going to okinawa to surf, dive, and dive… haha… i was checking out hayato’s blog and seen his huge uhu he caught. honestly, i was jealous…. i wish i was there diving, surfing, and drinking with all the boys. why can’t i have 2 bodies???? well, as for now, this body is going surfing!!! have a nice day!!!

i went to the hawaii skin diver expo yesterday. there were more than just fish and spearguns….

i went to check out kyle’s red sea adventure booth. kyle has so many trips coming up this year. i wish i can go on all of them….

then we went to kewalo’s. and speared this 150 lbs tuna.

then this 500 lbs marlin came to me so i shot him too. can you believe that??? please don’t….

the truth is, the charter boats down at kewalo’s are hitting the jackpot. i guess you can say business is booming…
**oh, as for the japanese dvd’s and magazines. it’s already gone. next time desu….

and last, alyssa wooten just came back from japan. i just seen alyssa and she told me that she will do her best in updating her blog regularly. and also have it in japanese. we’ll just have to see.. haha.. congratulations again alyssa for graduating from high school. college is waiting for you…

good evening. another great surf day in hawaii. it’s kind of windy but so what if it’s off shore…. more surf on the way. got millions of things to do before i leave and don’t even know when to start. help…. anyway, have a great evening…

after all the hype, it’s finally out!! the new surf1st came out a few weeks ago in japan and i’ve been getting tons of calls and emails ever since. i finally got my hands on a copy and i’m more stoked than ever…. why???

because this is the back cover!!! for this issue, i’m going to read the magazine backwards and put it on my coffee table with this being the cover. why?
1. because i was there.
2. this sequence is awesome.
3. it was tokura-san’s 60th birthday.
4. the red vest.
5. the party after.
6. 14 happy people on the boat.
7. uncrowded HT’s.
8. the perfect wave
9. the perfect trip.
10. a lifetime memory.
i will never forget this boat trip, let alone, this amazing day that happened to fall on tokura-san’s 60th birthday!!! congratulations tokura-san!!! kanpai!!!

and lucky me got a 2 page spread on one of the most perfect wave of my life. thanks kenji sahara for taking the best photo you ever taken of me, and thanks surf1st for supporting a huge project that was more than successful. next year we’re doing it all over again so send in your applications…. this could be you!!!! shit, i’m so happy right now that i’m going to drink a beer and toast to myself. kanpai[:?????????:][:?????????:][:?????????:]
