good morning. it’s 7:30am and while most people are waking up on this holiday in hawaii, i already came home from surfing. the waves were small but i had the whole ocean to myself. it feels so good jumping into the ocean at dark and surfing while the sun is rising right in front of you. i feel so fresh!!
now it’s time to pack and shut down this computer. gosh, the past 10 days just flew right on by. i’m ready to go on another journey. japan, okinawa, and indonesia. 3 places i love!! more experiences, more friends, and more fun!! i’m off to the airport and can’t wait to see you all!!! [:????????????:][:????????????:][:??????:][:?????????:]

i’ll be doing a few dives in the next few weeks and i can’t wait!!! nothing taste better than the fish you catch yourself….

when ever i get back to hawaii, the first thing i do is throw a few thick steaks on the barbecue. it’s all good!!!

the new food and product show is coming up on october 16-18th. i’m kind of bummed that i won’t be here to taste all the food…

instead, i’ll be in japan eating like a king. haha….

Surf 5am. Fun Wave!!

good evening. the fishing festival today at pier 38 was awesome. i went down last year at 10am and found parking right in front. today, i went down at 9am and the parking lot of full. i had to park in costco across the street. it was a far walk but i was pretty stoked to see so many fishermen and kids having a great time. about my hand, it’s still swollen and hurting more than yesterday. i met so many friends today and when i shook their hand, i was in pain each time. everybody, PLEASE DON’T SHAKE MY HAND.. it hurts so bad!!!

this is my favorite part of the event. the fish auction block. i wish i had my sashimi knife with me. i would have cut out a piece of this tuna when nobody was looking. haha…

check out the reef fish section. steamed fish? sashimi? deep fry? nitsuke? ALL GOOD!!!!

there was a stage with so many things going on. this was my favorite. i thought i was in okinawa or something….

it even snowed in hawaii today. i got my shovel and made a snowman… hey, just joking….
