dream river mouth

good morning. been here for only 5 days but ate a months worth of food. i’m gaining weight and i’m loving it. 8 more days and i’ll be on a boat in the middle of the indian ocean so it’s all good. the waves are small here in shikoku so it’s time to put everything back into my suitcase and move. we want to surf so if anybody out there knows where the waves are, let us know and we’ll be on our way… have a nice day….

tony and seth love japan. the food, the people, and the culture. it’s pretty funny that they look at things and freak out… it’s called “culture shock” and i still experience it once in a while here in japan…

seth’s a lucky kid to have his dad coach and video him. when he gets older and sees all the footage, he will realize the great thing tony has done for him. but for now, he must be thinking “dad, get that video camera out of my face”… haha.. gosh, i wish i had video of myself when i was a kid….

i wanted to take this time to thank everybody for the presents. shogo-san from surfers garden in shimane gave me this bottle of uni. gosh, it looks so fresh!!! i can’t wait to try it…. thanks shogo-san….

and wanted to thank satoshi-san and his wife from hiroshima. this is supposed to be really good manjyu…. itadakimasu….

and last, when i checked into my room at pension shishikui, there was a bottle of jacksan on the table. with a note: to kirby… from ieki. ieki-san is from kyoto and knows me pretty well. thanks ieki-san and see you someday soon in tango…..
**by the way, i need some help. i need information on malaysia. i have an overnight transit in kuala lumpur and was wondering if anybody knows where i should stay? remember i have my board bag with me. should i leave it at the airport? my flight leaves the next day out of LCCT terminal. please help!!!
