good morning. 6:30am and woke up to just what i expected. no waves… the south swell came down already. let’s just call it a half/day swell. oh well…. tradewinds picked up a bit, town is waist/chest high, north shore is smaller. going to take my suitcase and board bag out and start filling it up. i haven’t lived out of my suitcase for a while but i’m looking forward to it. 1 surfboard, 1 speargun, 1 tshirt, and 1 surf trunks. that’s all i need…. oh wait, i forgot wasabi…. better go to marukai today. have a nice day!!!

when shun was in hawaii, i took him to mcdonalds. it was the first time he ate a hot fudge sundae with nuts on the top. it only cost a dollar…. can’t get this in japan…

good friday evening. spring officially started today but it felt more like summer… it was hot, hot, hot..

i had 2 great sessions out at big rights today. looked at bowls but wanted to surf a right so that was the call. got a new board that works pretty good so all i want to do is surf!!! it was hard to find parking today, just like summer time..

if summer is going to be like how beautiful today was, i can’t freakin wait. i love this place. tomorrow, same thing….
