gosh, what a beautiful day it was today. i was in kaneohe where it’s usually raining but today was bluer then blue. perfect weather!!!

i was passing by the shopping center when i seen GARAGE SALE signs. so i pulled over to check it out…

breathalyzer? i opened it up…

it checks your breath for alcohol. there’s a fine line in hawaii. drink 2 beers and it’s ok to drive? what about 3? or 4? this tests your alcohol level by just blowing into it. i got it for $7. what a deal. it’s going right into my car… and wait to you see the other cool things i bought. like old school hawaiian albums. yes, C & K albums… collector kine…
**went for a short dive on my boat this afternoon with hayato. it was windy, cold, and cold. yeah, cold. got a few fish and came right back in. today was not a good day for diving. it was a good day to stay in bed under my blanket….

DUI checkpoint alert!! i was driving on keeamoku st. between king and beretania st. when i came across this DUI checkpoint. it was only 9:30pm last night so i was pretty surprised. in japan, you will get a $3000 fine and get your license suspended if you take a sip of a beer. in hawaii, you can actually drink a couple of beers and drive legally. but if you get pulled over, you better be able to walk the line. a line that is hard to walk even sober…. it’s better just not to drink and drive. call the taxi @ 808-531-1333. have a safe weekend….

**and last, wanted to congratulate kairi noro for placing 5th in the finals for the HSA contest today at haleiwa. kairi called me right after the final and was soooo happy. i wish i could have recorded that conversation, so cute. a happy kid. and i’m super happy for kairi… and congratulations seth moniz for placing 2nd. go-groms….
