this was 8:30am at diamond head. chest/shoulder high and good for
longboarding. sunny skies, tradewinds, and clean water. we finally
got hawaii back!!! i’m so happy…

good monday morning. 6:15am and it’s pretty chilly… see some 2′ surf on the north shore, 1′ in town. clean conditions everywhere. BOX JELLYFISH WARNING. they picked up over 1,300 box jellyfish yesterday in waikiki and 170 people got stung. and get this, i went to surf waikiki yesterday afternoon and didn’t even see the signs. gosh, i’m glad i i didn’t get stung because those hurt. their expecting more today so be careful. anyway, i’m throwing my 5’10 bullet in my car and going surfing. maybe lighthouse again? like we say in japanese “itekimasu”. translated into english “i’m out of here”… have a nice day….

what is “ALOHA STREET NATURE PROJECT?” ALOHA STREET NATURE PROJECT is a charity program that is dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of hawaii’s natural environment. it all started by an email to aloha street from a japanese reader who was asking if there were any volunteer programs in hawaii that she could participate in. 3 years later, the nature project is successfully up and running. an awesome project with awesome people behind it…

good evening. went down to diamond head around noon and the waves were pretty good. shoulder/head high with glassy conditions. i jumped in at lighthouse and there were only 5 people out. fun little double ups and my 5’10 minami bullet was working good. i had more fun at diamond head then i did yesterday at pupukea. i’ll probably go out there again tomorrow. by the way, the water all around diamond head was crystal clean. the next chance i get, i’m going diving. can’t wait… have a nice evening…

this was last night’s dinner. the ichiriki house special nabe. then ended it upstairs with the ichiriki loft jacksans. another fun saturday night fever….

hey, remember this chicky i put on my blog last year? the one that makes youtube vids where she just stares into the camera? and gets millions of hits? well, Magibon’s back. she posted another youtube vid yesterday and already has 420.000 views. holy crap!! and now, she’ll be getting much more.
