Maui Dive Sports….

good morning. 4am and i couldn’t sleep last night. i’m too excited on this molokai trip. it’s the first time i’m going by boat and kept thinking about it. i gotta get going. today, i’m looking for lobsters… hope i can find a few for dinner. the waves? i have no idea… haha. have a nice day….

some people tell me that seth looks like me. i don’t think so. if i was that cute when i was a kid, what the heck happened??? haha…

i just got 3 emails sent to me asking why kelia doesn’t update her blog more often. i just don’t think kelia realizes how many hard core fans she has in japan. i really want her to go to japan and see for herself. then it will wake her up and she will probably update her blog more often…. but until then, i don’t think it will happen…

i was fortunate to go to tahiti last november with wendell ko. i watched him dive and learned so much. what did i learn? i learned that i have a long way to go to become one of hawaii’s top free divers. wendell is the man. i’m fortunate to be going with him today to molokai and i’m just going to sit back and watch. when he goes down, i just stay on the surface and try to hold my breath when he goes down to see how long he can do it. i’m probably about half way there…. well, i better get out of here. i don’t want to miss the boat. by the way, the fish wendell speared in tahiti tasted pretty dam good….
**and last, i’ll leave you with a short video of kazuma miyagi and team okinawa in hawaii. kazuma caught his first wave at kewalo’s. cute kid….

Korean Barbecue….

Bulgogi Stew in Hawaii. Kamsamida….

TRAVEL: MOLOKAI LOBSTERS…

i checked bowls this morning around 9am. chest high and super fun. but not good enough for me. i still don’t really feel like surfing yet. still a little spoiled i guess..

so i headed to kewalo’s to watch the HSSA contest. i pulled up right in time for the menehune under 12 years old finals…. the kids were ripping!!!

seth moniz is focused, determined, and freaking ripping….

when i was on the flight back to hawaii, i was telling myself, “slow down, take it easy for a week, relax”. that’s what i was planning to do until kyle called me yesterday and invited me to go with them to molokai tomorrow. i couldn’t turn it down…. this was molokai 3 years ago, and hopefully better this time. we’re going on the red sea boat leaving hawaii kai at 5am. i better go to sleep… goodnight….
stay tuned for photos and video….
