World Shell Collection

I was so excited to surf this morning.  Diamond Head was excellent!

The waves got better and better throughout the morning.  It felt so good to surf glassy waves again.

Then I had to throw away some bulky trash.  The Keehi Transfer Station takes your trash for free!

Just pull up and throw away pretty much anything and everything.  BUT, if you go, take a mask because it’s super stinky!  I almost threw up when I got out of my truck.

When you least expect it, you can find treasure right in front of your eyes.

To me, this is treasure.

Just a few more shells for to add to my world shell collection.

Omakase is Chefs Recommendation

When ever you go to a restaurant in Japan, they serve you some appetizers with your beer.  It looks like this and it makes you want to drink more beer!

I always like to order tomato because it taste more like a sweet fruit.  I have a hard time coming home and eating tomatoes in Hawaii.

What ever the season is, the fish is as fresh as can be.  So it’s always best to order what the chef recommends.

Another chef recommendation.  Fresh as can be.

I watched the chef cut open a whole crab, take out the meat, miso, and presented it like this.  It was good to watch and great to eat.

And the clams!  OMG!

Thank you Kimura-san for being the best guide in Wakayama!
