Round 1:  Crowded Bowls but perfect waves.  Chest high and clean.  Dead battery so no photos.

Round 2:  High tide Bowls.  Surfing with 14 year old Koyo.

Ala Moana shoulder high and good.
Diamond Head head high and bumpy.
Strong trade winds at 25mph.

Round 1:  This has been an exciting 3 days of big swells at Bowls.  Bowls is known for the left but if you search for the perfect wave, the right might be it.  I was looking at the rights and found the best ones I’ve ever found out there.  I got some big crazy barrels these past 3 days.  So stoked!

Tomorrow should be good and another big swell for Monday.  Then another bigger one after that.

Once in a while, a big close out set would catch everyone off guard.  It looked like a battlefield after the waves passed.

Perfect waves and perfect conditions.  All day the waves have been so good like this.

Going faster and going higher.  And going home happier.  

I had these 3 bottles of champagne for a very long time.  Waiting for that special occasion…
