Trades Back!

**Posted February 6, 2024

This morning had one of the nicest sunrises at Diamond Head in a while.

I don’t remember ever seeing so many tourists coming here for the sunrise.   It’s been like this every morning.

Finally after a month of no trade winds, it’s back!  That means the wind swell will be around for a few days.  It looked like this today and the girls were so happy to be out there all by themselves.

Nice long rights if you know how to find them.  And these girls know how to find them.  I was so proud watching them exchange wave after wave.

A big ocean for these 2 girls.  They prefer it this way.  Smart.

Every time we walk up the cliff, I tell them to walk fast and never take a break.  We’re working on the breath and staying calm.  This is never easy to do.

February 27, 2024 Hawaii Surf Report

Under the sea.

Good morning 4:10am.
North shore shoulder high from the North.
Ala Moana waist high from the East.
Diamond Head shoulder high and bumpy.
Strong trade winds at 25mph.
Sun, showers, and rainbows.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

Sea Urchin Fun

I couldn’t believe how many surfers were down at the beach this morning.  Most of these guys paddled out to Rockpiles.

Locals only this morning at Bowls.  Nice surfing with you Lance, Malcom, and Jerome.  A very peaceful session with amazing rides.

Jerome is retired and loving life.  Surfing and traveling.

I can see the months of training paying off.  Compare the mind, body, and soul to just a few months ago and it’s all changed.  Now you have a brand new woman!

Stepping on sea urchin isn’t fun.  So please be careful!
